Mounting question

So I just bought http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082808&p_id=5560&seq=1&format=2 to use for my setup. However, my secondary 19" Samsung doesn't have any mounting screw holes on the back. I am trying to think through the best way to go about this. My first thought is a wooden square, screwed to the mount, and industrial strength velcro holding the monitor to the plate. Not sure how much I like the idea, bit the screen weighs less than 6 pounds.... Suggestions, por favor.

Is a better idea to try to take the back off, drill out appropriate holes and mount hardware?

So if that stuff is sufficient, then industrial velcro probably is as well....
