Mounting Heatercore In Chieftec Server Case?

I have a double heatercore that I bought used from someone that bought it from dangerden with a shroud and 2 120mm fans. When I got the package in the mail it looked like "U"nited "P"ackage "S"mashers played soccer with the box like Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura. "sounds broken" "most likely, but I bet it was something nice" Anyways the box was mangled and retaped but hardware was in good condition except for these long white plastic screws with nuts on both ends to hold the shroud to the heatercore. These screws are long enough that they go all the way through the heatercore and up into the shroud. Three of these broke off completely during the soccer game.

1.) Does anyone know where I can get this to replace the broken ones or maybe something like it? I can take a few pictures if you guys need some clarity of what im talking about.

2.)How can I mount this beast into my case? My case has a removable hard drive rack so I was thinking of removing that and buying hard drive mounts for the 5.25" bay. With the 2 hard drives out of the way I should have plenty of room in the bottom front of my case to mount the heatercore. Going about mounting this thing has me stumped though. I know I need to leave room for the fans to get enough air to blow through the heatercore, and also for the air to come out the other side of the heatercore. This thing is pretty heavy so I need to screw it in someplace or mount it somehow. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Did you have insurance on the package? Call UPS, complain, get a new one.
 
I did not have insurance and im not gonna waste my time getting the run around from ups for a few broken plastic screws. Nothing else was damaged other than the screws.
 
For the plastic screws/threaded rods, just call Danger Den and ask them if they could sell you some replacements, I'm pretty sure they will, maybe even send you them of nothing if you're lucky.
The threaded rods are slso ment to be used to fasted the core to the case, the fans and shroud should be on the inside of the core.................. :D
 
UPS automatically ensures up to $100. So if its less then that go make the claim, granted it would be best to check the package for such obvious defects before signing, that gives you the most effective argument for getting your items replaced. But no one ever does it...
 
I was at work when the package was dropped off so no one signed for it.
lol guys come on its just a few plastic screws that can probably be replaced for 2 bucks. I am not gonna go file a claim with UPS over this.
 
Sorry, I don't know yor case. But I would think you could remove the bays like you said and mount the heater directly to the case with the fans and shroud on the inside. It might be better to open the steel front plate of the case to match the core size a bit better though.

the white tabs on the floor of the case are the brackets for the 5.25 bay. So obviously the floor has nothing on it.

I have that case except without the door on front. My heatercore is a Chevette core, so it's considerably smaller than yours and I was able to fit it in 3 of the drive bays, facing forward, and ducted to 2 120mm fans that blow out the top of the case. You should easily be able to fit your dual-120 core at the top of the case though, if you don't mind doing some cutting for fan holes.

I lack the proper tools and skill to really start cutting my case up.
I was heading in the right direction, and Ryu gave me a lot of good ideas with the pics he showed me of his similar case.
I am going to remove the drive racks and mount the heatercore vertically up against the front of the case.
