mounting a swiftie 655?

Does it matter what direction you mount this pump? normally its mounted on the bottom of the case somewhere. But since i am building a custom case.. i was thinking to mount it on its side on a side wall of the box, so the "intake" part of the pump is facing straight up at the RES... instead of having it mounted on the bottom, and having to make a turn up to the res, which will be in the top of the box...

I think it will be fine... but just wanted to check on other opinions 1st. Its basically so the intake of the pump is facing the res.. and also now the output will be facing the RAD.. so it works great for me... i assume the pump wont care its been rotated 90 degrees.

Basicly anyway you like EXCEPT with the inlet pointing downward............... That's a big No-no............... The way you have it works just fine......... Kind of hard to get to the pump control on the back though.

I thought it was ok.... glad ot get the confirmation...

yeah i thought about the Dial...pretty much wont matter no matter where i was gonna put it, the dial would basically be not accessable.. so no biggie!
