Mounting a DDC on it's side

I think I saw a thread around here about this awhile ago, but a search turned up nothing, so I'll just ask. Is it safe to mount a DDC (or DDC+) sideways? The bearing design seems like it might have a problem with that, but I wasn't sure.

Sideways is fine. Just don't mount it with the inlet facing downward if you're using a modded top.
