Would it be safe to mount a 480 radiator externally from the rear exhaust fan holes on a computer case?

I would be using brackets similar to a radbox, like these:

I have seen a picture of somebody who has done it before:

But wanted to actually heard from anybody who has done it. Is it quite stable, or does it flex a lot?

Thanks

Im thinking that if you do it like in that pick i don't see how that could be to stable whit out strapping it or doing like they did and having it sit on a windowsill. A better way would be to drill holes in your case and make some kind of bracket wait nvm i got it get you soem self taping screws and a stick of unistrut and cut it to the length of your rad and then mount it to your case as to make a rail system where you could slid the rad in to it (note you would need to check to see if it would fit)then drill little holes in the unistrut to mount your fans to if this would work it would never go anywhere and would be cheep if you have a hack saw and drill

I didn't actually notice he was balancing the rad on the shelf! I have decided to just stick with a 360 rad and get some 'EK Rad Holder' brackets to hold it against the rear of my case :)
