Mount socket A block on Socket 754?

I'm about to get an Innovatek waterblock for free. It's got an interesting socket A clamp system:

Any way to mod this to fit my LanParty 250gb? The three plastic prongs line up quite well (visually comparing my lanparty to a k7n2 I have lying around), but the 754 socket seems elongated vertically... any ideas?
 
Best bet would be to just get a new mounting bracket, its not something you want to mess around with and have it fail.
