Online light has been blinking/cycling for the entire day = no net. Modem is a comcast rental.

Signal values:
downstream
frequency 567000....0 Hz
signal to noise 35 dB
power level 9 dBmV

upstream
channel id 0
frequency 0 Hz
ranging service id 0
symbol rate 0.000 Msym/s
power level 8 dBmV

... Now the online light is solid but 3rd light is blinking still no net
upstream
channel id 3
frequency 370.....0 Hz
power level 50 dBmV

You pay them for the service right? Have them send a tech and find the problem...

Make sure you aren't running through any splitters for your connection to the cable modem as it degrades the signal.

Renting a modem from Comcast is a rip-off btw.

IIRC, that power level is a bit on the "hot" side. The nominal range should be +5dB to -10dB.

mattjw916 is correct, get Comcast to fix it.

Looks like an upstream problem, the downstream signal is strong and the SNR is good. Aside from reconfiguring your wiring there's not much you can do, get them to roll a truck.

And +1 on renting being a waste of money, the SB5101 is like $25 on eBay.
