I am planning a new workstation build and would like to use the new E3-1200v6 Kaby Lake Xeon CPUs.

After emailing Asus and AsRock, it sounds like they are not going to be offering any new motherboards for these, since they use the same LGA socket (1151), and the same PCH chipset (C236). There would just be a BIOS update for the existing Skylake boards.
e.g.: http://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=C236 WS#Specifications
Does this sound correct?
Are there any new features in the Kaby Lake v6 CPUs that the Skylake motherboards couldn't access?
Thanks!
