I am currently starting a new system build, and am trying to source a new motherboard tray for a micro-ATX mobo. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to pick up such a thing? Canadian suppliers are most welcome, as I'm up here in the north.

Cheers

Are you building your own case? If so, just get an ATX one and chop it up, lol. ;)

Yes, a complete case from scratch... I just would like a nice, clean micro ATX mobo tray to build on.

I have considered the hack and slash approach, but if I can save time by not having to clean up a "modded" ATX tray, I'd love to avoid it entirely.

If I can't find one, however, out comes Mr. Dremel... ;)

No ideas from anyone on this? Hate to bump for no reason, but surely someone out there has an idea on this?

A thought would be to buy a cheap matx case, and mod it. That way you dont have to mod an ATX case...

OR you can contact a case manufaturer and see if you can purchase one from them. just a thought.

Performance-PCs would have been my guess, but I didn't find one. Contact them and see if they can get one for you... then again, I don't know if they ship to CAN, lol.

Silly question ..... if you are making an entire case from scratch, why not make the mobo tray too?

here ya go...

Heh, I was looking for that but got distracted at the Lian-Li site, lol. I was looking for their mATX cases... but anyhow, this should help the OP, too:

# International Orders
# We only accept orders directly from the shopping cart. In order for us to ship internationally you must check-out through the cart and be able to pay via PayPal, or send a Western Union wire transfer to complete payment. If you wish to pay with a Western Union wire transfer you should check out with the "Check/MO" option. Reference your order # in any wire transfer. We do not accept International Checks or Money Orders.
# We only do direct bank account transfers for large orders over $1000.00 US for no extra fee. If you wish to do a direct bank transfer for an order under $1000.00 then you will have to pay the incoming wire fee of $40 that we incur. Please contact us for bank wire transfer information and include this fee in your total wire transfer amount.
# Due to UPS's very high brokerage fees for Customs we recommmend you ship US Express Mail. This option has tracking and is insured and recommended for any order over $50 US. US Priority Mail or 1st Class rate have no tracking, no insurance, and can take much longer to arrive based on how fast or slow your Customs Department handles it. So, expect with these two services that the delivery will take 2-4 weeks average. If time is sensitive and you want true tracking and guaranteed delivery times, then we suggest only to use UPS for shipping.
# Finally, please note that there are certain countries we will not ship to regardless of payment. Please contact us first if you have any questions relating to that.

I can sell you the MB tray I have from my spare QPack case. I'll probably buy a different case for my next build instead of using my spare.

$20 USD plus whatever shipping method you want to pay for and it's yours.

you got a QPack for sale ???

I have an extra original QPack (silver/black) that I'm not using. I was originally saving it for a second build but odds are that I'll go with an ATX tower for my next build so It sits unused. Except for the 120mm fan and 5 1/2" slot cover I stole from it.

Why, you want to buy it?

If you don't want the PSU then that should save a lot on shipping. I'd be happy with $27 paypal plus whatever $ for the shipping of your choice. USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

BTW, the case has a minor ding on the back corner. Probably fixable but I never tried.
