Motherboard RAID 0 separating?

I upgraded a PC of mine recently which was running RAID 0 from the motherboard. I forgot to format the driver before moving them to the new motherboard. I was able to format one of the drivers. However, the other one is detected but will not get past the splash screen when booting up. If I remove it, it will boot.

Did I mess it up by not formatting it ahead of time? I can't access the drive to format it.

your new mobo is it in AHCI or raid

does the new mobo have raid on it, if so go into the raid configuration on boot up and set the drive as "|non raid" if you have an intel board with intel raid should be able to do this.
 
Yeah, I would remove the drives you have working from the controller as not to mess them up and go into the BIOS and set up your controller for RAID is it is not already. The non bootable drive you have that is still connected should show as part of a degraded array. Remove it from the array or set it to non RAID depending on your controller and then reboot. If your controller was set to AHCI before change it back and then shut down. Reconnect the previously working drives and all should work then. If things were already set to RAID obviously skip the part about changing it.
 
Alright, I managed to figure it out.

I could not access the drive to change the RAID settings on it, as it would not POST with the drive connected. However, I swapped it with the SATA cable from the other drive that was in the array. This let it boot up. I formatted it within Windows and plugged the other cable in the other drive. Now both are working fine.
