MB won't boot in dual channel/DIMM Slots 3&4

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having some trouble, was hoping for some help.

Asus P4P800-e motherboard. System was working just fine, did a reboot and now will not POST with memory in dual channel. Also the system will not POST with one stick in DIMM slots 3/4 (not sure if it should anyways). No BIOS beep codes, just a dead stick. Motherboard powers up (fans spin).

Things I've tried-

Different RAM sticks (~4 pairs)
Clearing thr CMOS
Unhooking power from system for ~10 minutes
Jumping up and down on one foot....

Can get system to POST with sticks in DIMM 1 or DIMM 1 & 2.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Lemme know if anyone has any ideas, kinda borked my [H]ardbowl rig on this one.

Thanks!

Try more of this. Have a different rig around to try everything on?

I got tired.

I know the RAM is good, the CPU will be hard to remove due to certain issues.

Random shot in the dark, but did you go to help/support section of the MB Manuf website?

Asus P4P800-e

Theres your problem.. its an ASUS :D
I've personally had nothing but headaches with every board I've ever used from ASUS. That and the fact they make 15 revisions of every single board before they get it right is the reason I no longer buy or recommend them.
