I need some help here.
On this black friday I have purchased part for new rig from Newegg.
Motherboard - ASUS P5Q-VM LGA 775 Intel G45 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Memory - OCZ Fatal1ty Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
power - Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W ATX12V v2.01 SLI Ready Power Supply
video card - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16
cpu - Q9550 EO stepping slb8v
case - Thermaltake LANBOX Lite VF6000BWS Black
This came yesterday so I put em together. The monitor did not turn on so I thought maybe its the graphics card so I plug the monitor in onboard G45 video output and monitor still did not receive any signal. So I was almost sure It is the motherboard's possibly northbridge. And I was taking apart and saw in motherboard cpu socket had one bent pin in the one of the inner most pin. I think it came that way, so could this bent pin can be the problem that cause computer to not to post to bios?
