Motherboard = OUT

Watching Inception via WMC/MM and then *LOCK*. No ALT-CTRL-DEL. No mouse. Nothing. Reboot. No beep. No post. Tried different port on TV to confirm it's not TV. Tried onboard video. Removed all memory. Removed all HD connections. Removed connection to Blu-Ray drive. Same.

Any other valid test you can think of before I just replace the motherboard? I can't think of anything else?

I have one other PSU laying around that I could try. Would just connecting the power connector and listening for a post be proof enough? I really would prefer not to completely remove the PSU from an existing machine if I can avoid it.

Clear cmos.

Check for physical damage (visual/smell).

You don't need to install the extra PSU in the case if that is what you are asking. Just make sure the connectors to the motherboard are connected. Make sure the parts not connected the PSU are not connected with the mobo either.

I didn't notice any damage. Just pull the battery to clear CMOS?

Yea, I'll try working PSU tonight hopefully.

I would feel better if this wasn't a working build that suddenly froze.

Different PSU = same result.

Tried various 1GB of ram to rule out ram. No change.

No post. No beep. Assuming dead.

Debating finding a replacement (GA-MA69GM) to ensure it fits my HTPC without issues. Grr. Sucks.

Replaced the motherboard and it boots up as expected. Going to see if I can RMA the board but I doubt it as I am slightly outside the period...
