I'm having trouble with my motherboard, a TUF GAMING B550M ZAKU WIFI II. Is it possible that it only supports processors with integrated graphics (IGPU)? I bought this PC years ago, pre-built with a Ryzen 3 4300GE processor. I wanted to upgrade to a 5 5500, and when I installed it, the PC didn't display anything, only the fans spun. I tried clearing the CMOS and updating the BIOS correctly, but nothing worked. I took it to a computer technician who also tried installing the CPU, and it was the same. He told me that my motherboard only supports CPUs with an integrated graphics processor. So I tried upgrading to a 5 4600G, and it worked. The Asus website clearly states that it supports all Ryzen AM4 processors https://www.asus.com/fr/supportonly/tuf gaming b550m-zaku (wi-fi)/helpdesk_knowledge/, even without an integrated graphics processor. My BIOS is up to date. Is that possible? Or did the computer technician make a mistake, or was the Ryzen 5 5500 damaged? I have a 5060 Ti, so there's a bottleneck with my 5 4600G. It's extremely difficult to find a better Ryzen with an integrated GPU that isn't too expensive. But because of this problem, I don't dare buy a processor without an integrated GPU for fear it won't work and I'll lose money.

you do realize that you need a dedicated gpu if you switch to a cpu without integrated, right? you have the 5060ti installed?

Yes i had a dedicated gpu when i tried
then there is no reason for it not to work. put your apu back in and try setting the pcie speed to 3 instead of auto in the bios. also make sure it is up to date so it supports whatever chip your putting in. there are no amd boards that support only the apus. and make sure youre pluggin into the gpu, not the mobo.
