Im looking into getting a e6300. What would be a good motherboard for this processor. I want to overclock it as much as I can. I looked in the "Unofficial list of good motherboards" thread and notice there is quite a selection of Core 2 motherboards out there.

I was looking at that one. Its made by Asus and has the 965 chipset so in theory it should be good lol.

The system will consist of these components:
Intel e6300
2 x 512 of OCZ DDR2 667 Gold Series memory
X1900XT
X-FI soundcard(later down the road)
Some SFF case
Antec 480 Watt PSU

I just want a motherboard that I can really push the processor with. If there is a really good one coming out soon, I would gladly wait for it. I just need some info on what is good for the Core 2 selection of SSF motherboards.

Be sure the memory you pick is happy running at 1.9v. Much of the overclocker memory is rated for 2.1v and the 965 chipset has a problem with this voltage. I got lucky with the Corsair XMS memory, but my overclock on this board is crap.
