Motherboard drivers question

I'm going to switch my wifes motherboard out for a A7N8x-E Deluxe.She has a A7V8X right now. I want to know if I uninstall the drivers for the board before I switch them.Can I install the new board and the drivers with out a fresh OS install.I just reformatted her hard drive a couple of weeks ago for her.Thanks for all of your help with this.
