Hey all,
I'm trying to build an new pc. When i push the power button the CPU fan and PS fan both spin for half a second and then shuts off. i have used an known working PS to test the set up and achieved the same results. So i'm guessing it must be a bad motherboard?
It is either the front pin arrangment is not set up correctly, which i'm 95% sure its correct. White pins are negative and colored ones are postive. What i'm not sure about is that one of the front LED ,green and white, pin has a dongle connection on the end. But I'm thinking that shouldn't really make a difference.
Currently I only have the CPU, PS, MB, 1 stick of ram (2GB), and front pins connected together. And i'm still only getting 0.5 sec of power.
Is there anything else I should try before I declare the MB dead?
Thank you all
