Is there any way to force the web client to display the current MotD in a mandatory popup (similar to the way the native client works) in vSphere 5.1? I've got several users who ignore the dialog request to display the message, and the consequently miss important announcements. As these announcements are generally directives to do something they don't feel like doing, I'm sure this is probably passive-aggressive resistance and most of them read it anyway, but I need to be able to say with certainty that they saw and chose to ignore the message.
For reference, this is a server provided to students to work on various projects, and the lazy bastards leave their VMs running constantly when not in use and eventually run the server out of resources and slow it to a crawl. I'd add enough resources to fix the issue and be done with it, but there's a ton of projects on the servers and it isn't high enough priority to be able to get a budget request through after the state cut our funds again.
