Most silent HSF

Here at the office we have decided that we want every single one of our machines to be as silent as possible, which means we are swapping the fans out to be turn it to dead quiet. We are talking ~20-25 dB but with the ability to push good amount of air. We dont want Zalman type HSF's because they are a pain to mount. I was thinking perhaps TT Silentboost, since they are pretty damn quiet in general.


What would you recommend for preformance cooling for the proc (AMD Athlon all of them) and case cooling?

if you were to buy this you'd have completely silent systems, and the hard drives would be the loudest thing in the system.

however, i'd really have to recommend the zalmans. i know they're a pita to mount, but it'll be worth the effort.

I dont understand why you think Zalman HSF's are a pain to mount. Just because you have to take out the motherboard to install it doesnt mean its a pain. Sure its a bit more work than others but its not hard work.

I too would recommend the Zalman

My Tt Silent Boost is extremely quiet, and keeps my oc'd 2500+ always under 50C, at less than half the price of a Thermalright + fan.

That having been said, I'd love to have a Thermalright + Zalman fan...just can't justify the bucks.

Its a scythe samurai cooler, This one is quick to mount and pretty quiet, and not as expensive as some of the others.
