I've checked all the normal spots but the best I can come up with is

6570 DDR3 version ONLY (where are the GDRR 5 versions at for LP??)

The Palit GTS 450 but horrible reviews about the fan on it.

Supposedly PowerColor makes a LP 5750 but the only place I found that has it in stock wants $200 for it. They can go bleep themselves!

Anyone know of a place that sells a GDDR 5 6570 or the LP 5750? I've struck out searching.

There is a low-profile 5670 from MSI, which should give you performance between the 6570 and 6670.

Also check out [thread=1068348]this thread[/thread]. They mention a low profile 6850 but it seems not available outside Japan.

I had the Palit gts 450 running for a good 10 seconds before i knew it was time to send it back. The fan noise is simply unbearable.

Fan noise is a key factor for me as well but mostly when I don't wear my headphones.

There is also the Sparkle GTS 250 low-profle. However it does not come with a LP bracket, so you'll have to buy one separately. And the GTS 250 has 141W TDP, so case cooling and PSU need to be adequate.

the fan noise on the 450 can be corrected with rivatuner or msi afterburner. that being said i was a bit underwhelmed at my gts450. for some reason it was never really a smooth gaming experience. i used it for folding 24/7 so that's why i bought it. but once a month or so i would fire up call of duty 2 and it didn't seem to perform as well as my old 9600gt, the settings could be higher but it always felt kinda stutterey. temps were great under water and frame rate was incredible(100+ at all times)
