I lost a tube inside my case while I was being careless and soaked my motherboard and video card. Not sure if they're salvageable, I'll find out in a couple days.

I'm going to replace my old radiator with a dual length one. I was thinking of the Danger Den Black Ice Extreme II. Is there a better choice? I want the maximum thermal transfer.

Thanks

If you're looking for cheap, the heater core for a cadillac deville/chevy caprice fits 2x120 perfectly, though it's hard to push air through one of those.

Probably the thermochill HE120.2...

although cathar and thermochill are working on a new revision of the HE120.2 which is supposed to be up to 30% better (can't remember where I read that, i think it was from thermochill marci himself).

Just about any heater core will out perform a dual 120 radiator. Less restriction and better air flow. Although they take a little work to mod and make a shroud to mount fans............;) And they cost a fraction of the cost of a radiator, $20 at your local auto parts store. The new Black Ice X-Flow Radiators should be out shortly so we'll have to see how well thet perform as well.

ouch.

on a moderately positive note, i was able to have a BIX2, that i damaged with a careless screwdriver poke, repaired at a local rad shop for $20 CDN. you might be able to do as well yourself.

since that rad sells for around $125 CDN.......it was well worth it, in my case.

I'm interested in those X-Flow rads too, I think they're only single pass. DD has them for sale now I think.

They've been announced. The PA120.x radiator series.

Get a BIP2 (Black Ice Pro 2) or double heatercore.
