What's the most money you've ever put into any case or case mod of yours? This includes making one from scratch, etc..

I'm thinking about making an awesome case in the next 2-3 years that will cost around $500.
 
i've spent around 500 dollars so far on the zelda case i'm working on
and i'm still spending
 
$900 (was $1,900 originally) on my completely custom painted Lian-Li PC-65 with a Prometeia Mach I. Was a pretty good deal too....you can check it out at hardwaregods.net, it's the one with the pretty blue flames :)
 
Probably over $500 invested in this case: (turned out not how I wanted)

my Tt case has cost me about 300 dollars so far... nothing much..

i currently am planning on spending around 500 dollars for a water cooling kit + 22" CRT monitor black ;), also Matrix Orbital LCD
 
^^^ that would've been my guess as well. :) and i'm sorry, $50,000? - did you count the price of the truck in that? - no go! :D
 
I've spent under $100 for 4 cases. :p I go the cheap route (there is a kickass $22 case on Newegg, if I ever buy another case, that one will be it).

Well, yeah - thats the case - right? :D

Honestly though, there is over $10k of electronics installed in that truck. I've had people emailing me asking what the cost would be to them to do a similar installation. Considering my shop rate is $70/hr I tell them they don't want to know (plus, the install is still not done yet).
 
I nominate corrugated with Heavy Metal (see gallery). Easily in the thousands for the case alone- (It hits 22mph!)
 
Bah, "Road RagE" is easily triple the cost and I could squash "Heavy Metal" like a bad mobo

Honestly, I agree though, Heavy Metal is the most outlandish machine on the net and I doubt any will top it (probably ever)
