I saw this deal on SD. It retails for $20, so I figure $5 is a pretty good deal on it. No idea how good the game is on Steam, but I figure I'd post it here in case some of you don't check SD.

GetGamesGo.com has Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition (PC Digital Download) for $4.99. Thanks Discombobulated

Note, game activates via Steam

Deal Editor's Note: Receives an 81 out of 100 metascore & 88 out of 100 user score at Metacritic. -slickdewmaster

Amazing price, wonderful game, but the code they gave me does not work (invalid code on steam).

Great, now I'll have to wait for someone in their support to notice my request......

Great game, maybe the best mortal kombat ever. Still frustrating as ever though.

I purchased this the day it was available for PC for full price. I love this MK... it's my favorite since 1,2,3.

Thanks OP, bought the game and the key was under your orders. Activated on Steam no issues.

I got an email back from customer support and it was my credit card company that rejected the transaction due to suspicious activity. Bought it with paypal and had no issues. I'm overseas using an american credit card at a UK website so I can see why it got rejected.

I posted this yesterday and just bought it today. When I was a teen, I was more of a fan of Street Fighter than Mortal Kombat, although I liked the music more in MK. I hope the sound track on the game in the PC port doesn't disappoint.

That website is pretty bad. FF + NS doesn't like it at all. I finally managed to get it through and bought the game for $4.99. Now I have to download this 10 GB beast on my PoS DSL Internet connection. :)

Worked perfect for me. I didn't have an account there, so I purchased, set it up, paid with Paypal, got the key, activated on Steam. Took all of 5 minutes. Great deal!

Got one last night, activated on Steam no problem.

If you're into fighting games and don't have this already, 5 bux is a steal.

My download finally finished last night. Only took 2 full days on my DSL connection. Granted, I only downloaded while my computer was on. And only about half that time b/c Steam consumes all of my Internet when it's downloading. (Anyway to throttle it to use, for example, just 75% of the available BW?)

I'm looking forward to playing MK, hopefully tonight.

Keep in mind the MK Kollection uses GFWL

you'll have to go through a few steps to get it working proper, and then have to worry about it not working at all after MS shuts down the GFWL service come June / July. Hopefully they will patch the GFWL out of the game before then like a few others did, but there are still quite a few games out there to go.

I bought this on Sun., the day after I posted it, and played it for the first time last night. I wound up playing Sub-Zero to practice with. It's been over a decade since I played on my friend's Sega. I had to re-learn the moves. I think I did better when randomly hitting buttons rapidly than thinking about punches, kicks, and combos. Awesome graphics, but haven't found a good techno soundtrack that the movie had. : \

Deal is dead. :(
Yeah, I saw that on SD (where I posted this deal from). Sux for those who missed out.
