More shaders with xt card than pro?

i keep reading that flashing your 9800pro to an xt unlocks more shaders? Then i go to the ati channel on mirc,and everyone says thats not true?what do i believe?is it worth flashing my 9800pro to an xt?if there more shaders to unlock,whats the benefit,and is it worth it?someone point me in the right direction!

Don't flash it. Just overclock it to XT levels. They have the same amount of shaders.
