I cant seem to boot my asus a7n8x deluxe mobo from a scsi card. I have 2xseagate 18gb drives on an lsi u320 card. It seems that when I boot from cd, windows asks for the drivers, i give them, format, load setup files, and then goto reset. When complete, I get the old insert disk or media message and it wont boot. I tried both drives in single and dual, have them terminated properly, and the scsi bios seems to try to load twice. Any suggestions?

Have you adjusted the boot order in the BIOS to reflect your new drive configuration?

Yeah, I actually turned off all boot selections 'cept for scsi and the same persisits. I was thinking some kind of conflict with the sata controller, but i disabled that but no go.

Have you went into the LSI bious and told it which drive to use as boot?

After the SCSI bious loads. Does it show the drive as boot in the device screen?

I normaly only install one drive to load the OS on. After it is up and running them I install how ever many drives I want in the computer.
