I been wanting to upgrade from a 3850 since 07 just waiting for something really good to come out. I will be getting either a 5850/5870x2 depending on prices. Hopefully the cards will come out soon.

so you skipped the whole 4800 series while waiting? a year ago you could have nearly doubled your framerates with a cheap 4850 while you were "waiting for something really good to come out". if you have been playing games with a 3850 then I doubt you really need a 5870x2 which is theoretically nearly 10 times faster. also if you dont have an i7/i5 system and a 1920 or larger monitor then a 5850x2/5870x2 is not the card for you anyway.
