I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight or help on this small situation.

I have a Samsung computer LCD that I would like to use for normal desktop usage, and I now purchased an Samsung plasma television that I would like to make it default for gaming/movies. Is there a setting or a profile I need to set for this in the CCC?

I had this same question...sort of. I asked if doing this would impact performance.

I just have the video card output the same to both devices. I watch movies/other stuff on my lcd tv via dvi-->hdmi and use the pc/play games with my monitor. Both displays are 1920x1080, maybe that helps with this.

Yes, you can setup two profiles. One for gaming that sets your HDTV as the primary display and another that sets your monitor as the primary display. You can create shortcut commands to switch between these profiles. You can just manually set which display is primary each time, too (profiles are not required).

Or

You can clone your HDTV and monitor, like the second poster does (not sure if this affects gaming performance).

if both monitors are the same resolution, you can just default your monitor to the TV as your main monitor. when you make a video fullsize, it will black out the other monitors.
