monster cable "cables"

possible yes, but the difference is so minute that you'll never notice.
although your wallet will.

I thought that they are better, infact they cost a lot of money...but...

Monster uses special copper from Venus that is better than copper from Earth. In fact, by placing a piece of plastic insulator in the center of the wire, it makes music sound better, and women remove their clothes. I promise you it has nothing to do with marketing or making their wire appear larger than similarly guaged standard wire.

Just because something costs more money does NOT in any way mean it is a better product.

I buy monster cables for guitar for a few reasons.

First, they don't cost $100 like some of their A/V cables. Second, they come with a lifetime warranty for ANYTHING. If YOU break the cable, you can take it into a store that sells monster cables and they will give you a brand new one no questions asked. Finally, with a analog cable like a guitar cable the quality does make a difference. With digital, like HDMI, DVI, optical, etc... it basically works or doesn't.

I use monoprice for any digital cable I need. If I get something analog I will check out what monster has to offer but I might go with a competitor. Phillips has great cables IMO.

No. As long as a decent length to cross-sectional area ratio is maintained, the "quality" of the cable makes no difference. Buy cheap cables.

Monoprice cables are awesome. I was amazed how thick the premium cables were when I first got them.

LOL, Nice.

Anyway over the bottem of the barrell cheap ass cables yea they can make a difference. Would you notice a difference over a good 10 dollar cable from like monoprice? No. With digital it makes even less of a difference. Get a normal set of cables and you'll be fine.

I buy them because the box looks cool. They have to be good if they are that much money.

Well, if were talking about analog.I'll take mogami's over monster for sound reinforcement use.Lifetime warranty as well, they are shielded, and cheaper.Remember, your cable is only good as your source.
