monochromatic laser printer vs color laser printer...

what do you guys think about buying a b&w laser printer instead of a color laser printer?

if you do mainly word doc printing(aka b&w is fine), then get a b&w laser... for color printing, go to the local library/kinkos/staples, or maintain a cheap inkjet for color

i wanted to buy a cheap color laser printer but they all have problems so i was thinking on buying a b&w one. good choice, for printing online receipts stuff i buy?

So far, I have had good luck with the dell 2130cn and the hp3700n. Both have cheap 3rd party ink available.

The color print quality is nowhere near as good as a dye sub or top end inkjet, though.

high yield inkjet might better pick. laser printers use a large amount of power. if you are doing less than 500 pages a month.
