Monitors for SLi + TripleHead2Go?

I'm planning to build a new PC with SLi and a TripleHead2Go but I'm not sure which monitors to get. I was thinking of getting either:

Samsung 770P 17" LCD Monitor

Because of it's 1500:1 contrast ratio

Or this:

Viewsonic VP920 19" LCD Monitor

Because it has an ultra-slim bezel, but the CR is only 500:1

I'm not sure what the size of the Samsung bezel is, so I don't know how it will look with 3 of them side by side. So could anyone give me a recommendation on which of these to buy?

Best one to ask, might be WidescreenGaming.
I saw today what you're talking about.
Matrox makes a nifty little "WidescreenToGo" box that fits in palm of your hand and divides your Game pic between 3 `19" monitors.
www.widescreengamingforum.com
They've reviewed it, have pics, and they're wild over it.
The Reviewer lists over 100 games the box can run in "triple-screen".
They're all there, all the top games .... HalfLife2, Oblivion, FEAR, BF2, you name it.
The Matrox box can make 'em run on three 17" or three 19" monitors as "one huge gamescreen at 3840x1024 rez"
Matrox told WidescreenGaming they plan to make it work on bigger monitors too.
Go to Widescreen and see the pics.
One shows a battle going on in town in Europe during WW2 on 3 screens all butted together.
Triple-screen gaming beats dual-screen gaming all to heck, cuz there's no 2-inch-wide monitor-bezel in middle of the battle-scene, staring you in face.
One reviewer said playing FEAR on three 19" LCD monitors scares him, "it's so immersive, so realistic".

'bump' (for guy who just now asked question on this subject and hasn't seen this).

What's triple head to go? Is this a new triple X rated movie that I don't know about? It sounds like the name of those X rated film.

Matrox TripleHead2Go is a small box that lets you use 3 monitors together to achieve ultra-widescreen

Basically it transforms these:

Into these:

The WideScreenGamingForum dude said he ignored that 19" is maximum size the Matrox can handle, saying something like "I used my 20-inch Dell 2000WFP widescreen(s) and the scene looked pretty awesome to me....."
I forget whether he used one 20" Dell in center flanked by two 19" monitors- or 3 Dell 20" widescreens.
Matrox seems to be taking Shooter and RPG games to new levels.

no, look at the pic of it a few posts above.. it's vga only :(

what the wtf.

If they had a dvi i'd be all over that... playing mmorpg's with that has to be so awesome.

I wonder if you can hook up two of those and achieve 6 monitors?

oh man.

Do you mean like having a 7650GX2 in single GPU mode? In theory I guess it could work, but do you really need 6 monitors?!

They did a review of this on a big site a month ago (tom's or anand's). If I remember correctly, I lot of games wouldn't work correctly with the triplehead2go version. The double version had better widespread support.

I've heard the opposite actually, it supports over 100 games straight out the box and has options you can configure for games that aren't in the list.

They add new games all the time. The product just came out IIRC so it's going to be an ongoing process. Right now, they are at 120+ games.
