Monitoring GPU temps?

Are there any programs that allow you to monitor/record you GPU temperatures?Specifically looking for something for GF6800 cards. Going into the display control panel is a royal pain and it only gives you the current temp, even if you have it open all the time by the time you switch outa your game or whatever the temps have already dropped,and it gives you no ability to keep a history.
 
There isn't that I know about. It sure would be nice, though, like a plugin or update for MBM5. You could always buy a probe and use that for a rough estimate, although that would be a pain...
 
Rivatuner has a monitoring tool built into it - lets you keep tabs on temp, core speed, mem speed & voltage. Think it lets you record too.
 
Speedfan will also monitor and (I think) log temperatures of anything in your computer that has a sensor. It also let's you vary the fan speed keeping your PC quiet when it's cool or loud when it's hot.
 
I strongly recomment Rivatuner. Speedfan has a bug I think. When I close it, it TURNS OFF the fan on my 6800! Actually, the only reason I don't use it is that my GIgabyte card doesn't have a normal temperature monitor - oh how I wish.
 
what about ati cards? i tried ati tool but i dunno where it is, also i tried ati tray tools and i think that works but i dont know how accurate it is... any other suggestions?

Get Rivatuner - works with ATI too.
 
Thanks guys I got RivaTuner, its hardware monitoring seems to be just what I was looking for.

One thing: what is "Core VID, non-dimensional"? I'm assuming its the Voltage to the GPU core but it's being reported as a constant 5.0, shouldn't it be like 1.3-1.5 or somesuch :confused:
