Hey guys.

I just finished my very first pc build. Happy days.

I did a test boot out of the case with ram, cpu, cpu-cooler and gpu installed, and made it past the splash screen so every thing is as it should be. Now I have installed all of my hardware into the case and when I tried booting it did'nt show anything. It just goes to that pause mode. The fan on the gpu is running so it should be working properly.

System.
Asus p8b75 m-lx
i5 3470
MSI r7850 OC
WD caviar blue 500gb
Corsair vengeance 8gb
XFX core edition pro 450W
Tp-link network card.

and the screen Samsung syncmaster 940bw.

What i've tried so far.
rebooting.
replug data cable in both ends.
replug power cable for monitor
replug power cable for gpu.
taking the gpu completely out and putting it back in.
plugging data cable into the onboard video.

Any help is much appreciated.

I would check for case motherboard screw posts that are out of place (and touching the back of the motherboard). Check for pinched cables. Make sure all the motherboard power cables are plugged in.

I found the problem. My Net card were doing something, I removed it and now it works. Thanks for your help though.
