I've tried 2 different xp installations and different drivers, new drivers, installing drivers in safe mode etc...
Does anyone know a workaround for this problem? My monitor will power off fine in xp once or twice and then it will not power off anymore... well, it will blink and come back on right away... Rebooting or resetting my power settings fix it for a short while.
This does not happen in windows 7 or XP sp2... is there any way to fix this instead of rolling back to xp SP2?
P.S. the problem seems impossible to diagnose... I used nircmd to try force monitor power off and it will sometimes work after a few tries... I tried isolating what process could be causing this but I cannot figure out which one it could be. But one thing is certain, it happens after the first or second successful monitor poweroff.
