Monitor uneven color

Its a samsung 2233sw the left side is dark but on the left side their are thick washed out looking lines. Is this monitor defective or is something else causing this. Iv tried multiple video cards slot, cables and monitors and its the monitor that has these lines.


The Picture makes the fading look worse.
