So.... now I have my new PC with an ATI Radeon HD4850, monitor HP w2207h (1680x1050 max), Samsung LN32A450 LCD TV (1366x768 max) and the last version of the Catalyst Control Center. Now when I clone my monitor to my TV, instead of putting the TV at 1366x768 and letting me keep my monitor to 1600x1050, it instead forces my monitor and my TV to be the exact same resolution... which of course means that I can only have my monitor at a max of 1366x768.
Connection via DVI-VGA /Dsub/ adapter pc-out to VGA /Dsub/ TV-in

What I want...
Monitor: 1680x1050 (display 1)
TV: 1366x768 (cloned display 1)
Theatre Mode

Is there any way to do this with the Catalyst Control Panel?

well... "cloning" is a direct reproduction of the source, so since the LCD TV is incapable of reaching the resolution of the monitor, the monitor has to downscale. I am not familiar with any way to use CCC to do what you want.
