Judging from the lack of responses, i presume there's no lcd monitor that can scale resolutions competitively with a CRT. Is the technology just not there, or is setting a native resolution that dooms all other resolutions to the same mosaic picture quality seen in japanese pr0n just more cost effective?
Interpolation in LCD's definately still sux. Get one with 1:1 mapping and if that doesnt do it for you... well... go back to CRT. I like my 22" Gateway and I love the 1:1 mapping option but CRT still has its advantages - especially in dark scenes.
