hello. i am pretty unfamiliar with lcds, as i have always used crt's. i just got a inspiron 9100 laptop, and the display looks great to me, but i wanted to put it through the paces with some configuration software just to mess around really. what would you reccomend i use? also, how can i detect dead pixels? or should it be blatantly obvious? thanks a lot
 
does good freeware software exist? i dont really want to spend $70 just to screw around a little. thanks
