Hi, I bought one of those little switch boxes so you can use one monitor for two comps. Do these have any bad effects on monitors?
 
Do you mean somehow damage anything with the switch? Then I'd say no. If you mean degrade the picture quality, then yes.
 
No I mean cause any harm to my monitor. I don't mind the hit in my image quality. It is my secondary monitor.
