I turn on my pc today and no signal, great. After unplugging and replugging the dvi cable, it works but it won't go higher than 1024x768, native is 1680x1050. Everytime I turn my computer on, I have to go through the same process.
I've reinstalled nvidia drives and monitor drivers. nvidia control panel recognizes my monitor, but windows calls it a non plug and play monitor when it used to say the monitor's name. I tried forcing it to native resolution and it worked once, but now it fails everytime.
I borrowed my friend's LG 22" monitor and it works fine. Is my monitor bad?
