Monitor shopping~ 1680x1050

i purchased a samsung 226bw today because i got it about 40 dollars less than newegg

i havent opened it just incase there was something clearly superior.

I dont want anything more than 1680x1050. Anyone think i should take it back and get something else?

Might not be a bad idea to think about that BEFORE buying something. But anyway.. It's a good monitor, I'd keep it.
 
I personally went with the dell 20" because of the return policy. I don't want to be stuck with dead pixels. (Didn't get any on my 2005fpw :))
 
Typing this on a 226BW right now.

It's about the height of a 20" CRT, except wider. Same specs as a CRT as well, no visible ghosting, excellent colors, etc.

I've been using CRT monitors for about 8ish years, and I'd have to say that this monitor is basically a CRT - except in truely flat form. :)
 
its unopened, i picked it up due to great price. i can still take it back for a full refund~

how do i know if its an "S" Panel and what is and "S" panel?
