Heres the situation:

I currently own a 24" TN LCD monitor, I was wondering for my new build if I should get 3 Dell U2311H's in portrait for eyefinity and have the 24" LCD for other uses or should I just get 2 Dell U2311H's and have them in portrait next to the 24" monitor for multitasking purposes.

Essentially I am wondering if its worth the extra bit of money to go for eyefinity, or is a 24" good enough for gaming. Also if I went with the second route, would the colours be totally off and be extremely annoying since it will be TN/IPS? I also have a bit of OCD and not sure if I could handle the different bezels/stands.

If anyone has thoughts on this, I would love to hear them.

If you have OCD about different bezels, I suggest keeping things as uniform as possible. I have OCD like that and I would go insane with 2 different monitor sizes. It's not just the bezels that will be different too. Pixel sizes could be different, color will be different, and the alignment when dragging your mouse pointer from screen to screen will most likely be off.

lol, thanks for the opinion! Yeah, I am OCD as well and personally I think you're right. The colour distortion, size, bezels and stands would probably bother me too much.

Yeah I think its a pretty common opinion that unless you have a good reason having identical monitors is good.
