Monitor screen is bright RED!! HLP!

Well, as title says, my monitor screen is now glowing bright red. I can still see everything but it is sickeningly red. It did this 2 days ago but went away after a couple of reboots. Tried changing resolutions, video card drivers. Things are running smooth on everything else. Anyone have any ideas?

Syntax Olevia 27" - using DVI input. Monitor is about 14 months old.
 
dont have an xtra PC or monitor in the house. Could make arrangements but that will take a couple of days

Check the cable for damage or stray pins. Perhaps the Green & Blue signal from the RGB is not passing through the cable properly.

Got it !!!

DVI cable was just barely hanging on to the vid card. pushed it in tightened screws and all came clear!!

(BTW just had mobo replaced and tech is the one who reinstalled all cables)
