Monitor Recommendation

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations on buying a monitor. My criteria are thus:

-Integrated Speakers
-16:9 native aspect ratio
-1920x1080p native resolution (my friends are telling me to get 1440p but I'm used to 1080p and 1080p should be cheaper, no?)
-IPS or comparable panel type with wide viewing angles
-At least 2 inputs that support HD video and audio (e.g., HDMI)
-Matte cabinet and screen for reduced glare
-Easy input switching and easy-to-use OSD is a bonus

I plan on using this monitor with Windows 7 for web browsing, 1080p streaming, and basic office applications. I have found a width of 1920 pixels fairly sufficient for using two windows side-by-side. I may do some gaming, but I'm not concerned with response time/input lag as long as it's not noticeable to a standard user when typing, for example.

I am eyeing the NEC MultiSync EA224WMi-BK as it appears to meet the above criteria (not sure on the last one), and I've gotten the impression that NEC displays are good quality. Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824002704

Can anyone provide feedback on this display or offer any recommendations on other displays that meet this criteria?

Thanks!

I've switched between using a 32" and 22" HDTV as my monitor for the past few years and haven't had issues with either. I definitely don't want to go smaller than 22".
