is this a good deal or are there better deals on 17" LCDs out there? I am kind of looking for something that at the most is $350 but i really want it closer it $325 or $300. i saw a samsung 712n on sale at compusa for $330. Is that a good price for that monitor?

what would u recommend? thanks

Seems a lot of people are looking at the 712N. I personally think the Samsung would be better, 600:1 contrast ratio and 12ms response time. Although you won't get on-screen display controls, it would still be the better monitor IMO. The Hyandai doesn't specify what the response time is, which means if it's 25ms, no FPS gaming for you. :)
