Monitor Problem

I just bought two acer f-22 off ebay (new). Within a week one of the screens is already flickering uncontrollably. I hooked it up to my other system and it still flickers. I cant believe that a brand new monitor is already broken! I am guessing its the backlight?

I guess I could send it back to acer but I have heard that they take forever to get it back, What do you guys suggest?
