Monitor not responding well with BAMT

alright I downloaded BAMT to a usb and tried booting it up on my new mining rig and it worked fine for like 20 seconds then I got a black screen with a red box and a out of range error and some info about my screen :mad:.. How can I fix this without windows? I have a pretty old screen that uses vga so im using a vga to dvi-d convertor to connect it to my gpu, and it was working fine when I was running Xubuntu and Ubuntu so its obviously not a hardware error definitely something to do with BAMT.. Please help im a noob and BAMT seems to be the easiest way to get my rig mining...
 
its not VGA to DVI-D, correction, it's VGA to DVI-I.. either way it was working fine before BAMT
 
I'm not sure who moderates this sub forum, but I think we will all agree that it would be best to keep one "help"thread and not create a new one each time a problem comes up. :)

Having said that, try rebooting a few times. My experience with BAMT was that it needed a few reboots to recognize everything.

Also, do you have multiple gpus installed or just one? Which slot is it installed in your mother board?
 
I have one gpu installed, and ive rebooted multiple times and tried various usb's, idk what the slot is called but its seems to be the main one..
