Monitor not displaying in sli?

So yeah, today my monitor was not turning on properly when booting up the system. I took the case outside and dusted as best I could but the problem persisted. The only thing that allowed me to boot up was to unhook the sli cable and remove my 2nd video card (running two 9800GTs still).

I'm guessing either, 1. the PSU is failing and not powering all the the components up, 2. the 2nd video card is failing or 3. I'm having some driver issues.

Anyone got any idea what it could be?
 
If there's no video at all, even in the BIOS, I think we can rule out driver issues. If it was a power issue the PC probably wouldn't boot at all, so for now my money's on the second card. Especially since the 9800GT has a reasonably high mid-term failure rate.
 
Could you give us more details? did you check the beep codes? Do you know how far the boot gets? Does your monitor turn on at all in sli, or receives absolutely no signal? Have you updated your drivers recently?
