Ya know how most CRT monitors have a slight crackle when you shut them off? Well, ever since i got home from college my monitor has been acting strange. No longer do i hear the regular crackle, but now it is a crackle POP!, crackle POP! about four times. The POPS! sound like electric arcing. And there is a slight blue flash when it happens... The monitor is a KDS AV-7TF. Should i keep using it till it competely dies? WHen it does die, what is a good 20+ inch CRT that i can possibly get from a retail store?
