monitor making buzz/whine noise, help!!!!

ok i've built a silent computer, and now the only things in the room making any noise at all are my 19inch crt nec multisync fe950+ monitor and those powersaving lightbulbs ;)

well the monitor thing is really annoying, because i've spent hours trying to fix that in the past few days when i thought my silent comp was making the noise... I tried replugging the powercords around, but its still on. help?

oh and do lcds make noise?
 
How old is it? Usually, any whining/buzzing noise means the monitor is ready to give, or a capicitor (was it that?) is failing.

I've mostly seen that the CRT is ready to give. Do a search on this forum and you'll see a ton of people having the same exact problem with the same exact answers.
