I have an old 15" CRT HYUNDAI running on my server box which is almost only used if I have problems connecting to the machine with RemoteDesktop.
But the problem with this monitor is its brightness. Thou I have brightness and contrast at max the picture is still very dark. So I can hardly see anything.
Is there a program that would tune the graphic card to put out more brightness??

Specs:
Windows 2003 SP1
Duron 1600,512MB RAM
NVIDIA TNT2 PRO 32MB

The monitor is nearing its end, the phosphours on the tube are simply worn out and nothing will make the whites whiter than they already are.

I know about that. BUt there must surely be something I could do in Win2003!
I know NVIDIA drivers had the option to increase the brightness thru their drivers but unfortunetly I can't install them in Win2k3 SERVER since apperantly they are only made for Win2k/XP.

All increasing the brightness using the drivers for example will do is wash out the screen.

I'm sure you could pick up another 15" monitor in better condition for between free and $10 locally. Theres alot of 10yr old computers gathering dust in peoples basements, just ask around your friends/family i'm sure someone will have something.

Will try. BUt in the meanwhile I would still like to try the software sollution.
So if any1 knows of a good program...?

my monitor was dark like yours, before i opened it up and cranked up the brightness potentiometers
